The League of Young Voters Primary (the 'Application') is operated jointly by MoveOn.org Political Action and The League of Young Voters PAC (the 'Partners'). We work hard to protect your privacy. We use the Application too, and we treat your privacy as we do our own. We wrote this privacy policy to let you know how we treat your personal information—and to show you all the ways we work to keep it safe and private.
The Application is in compliance with Facebook's Privacy Policy, available at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. The Partners respect your privacy settings and limit the collection, use and storage of your personal information through the Application. You can modify your privacy settings as they apply to the Application at any time by visiting http://www.facebook.com/privacy.php.
According to the privacy settings you specify in regard to the Application, the Partners may publish a story to your Mini Feed, publish a story to your friends' News Feeds, and/or place a badge on your profile about your vote through the Application. When you cast your vote in the Application, you may choose not to show your chosen candidate and/or your top issues. If you choose not to show this information, the Partners will make public the fact that you voted in the Application, but will not disclose which candidate you voted for or what your top issues were, as per your request. The Partners may place a link to the Application on your profile.
If you provide the Partners with your email address and choose to get updates from the Partners, the Partners may send you periodic emails. You can remove yourself from the mailing list at any time. The Partners do not share the information you’ve provided with unaffiliated groups without your explicit permission. If you choose to get email updates from the Partners, the Partners may share some of your personal information with affiliated groups, for the sole purpose of helping the Partners do their work. These groups do not share your personal information or use it for any purpose other than as instructed by the Partners.
